My boat, Against the Wind, a Sabre 34 Mk1, 1978 hull.
I have basically built a new boat from an old hull, the way I want her.
She has almost everything I want. ( my wife had hoped I was finished)
She has air conditioning, webasto heat, stainless steel tankage, a Beta Marine Saildrive, port and starboard freshwater pumps, Raritan Toilet, TV, Apple TV, Bose Sound Box 10, Custom Laser engraved and cut electrical panels, Link 2000 Controller and Inverter-Charger, Raymarine e125-with weather, sonar, radar, EVO autopilot(below deck linear drive), AIS 650, VHF, Wind(2),Speed(2),Graphic(3), B744V Transducer (depth,Temp,Speed), Cold Plate Refirgeration by Isotherm - Water Cooled, Inverter and Charger, Surrette MD375 House Battery, H3 Lewmar Windlass with custom made and designed anchor roller system for the 35 pound CQR and a real 35 pound Bruce anchor, Custom made Bobstay for the Top Down furling for the two spinnakers, Vetus Non-Skid Decking, Stainless Lifelines and Stainless Jack Lines, Monitor Windvane Self Steering, Leather wrapped wheel, custom made Honduras Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table, New Honduras Mahogany Flooring, Tide Track system for main sail, Anderson winches on coach roof for all incoming control lines, through Lewmar Clutches, and New Lewmar size 48 winches port and starboard in the cockpit.
The hard dodger is my creation, one of the best parts to this boat, she is super light, built with foam core and bi-directional fibreglass and was painted when we painted the deck areas and installed the non-skid (Vetus) decking. The windows where custom made. The main cabin and V-berth ports(windows) are made by Newfoundmetals and the large ports where custom made for me by Newfoundmetals.
